Hi All,

As many of you know I ran the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival Half Marathon on Sunday 16th September with the aim of raising $1000 for Fighting Chance Australia, a cause that is close to my heart and does some amazing work.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to say a huge THANK YOU to all my supporters for your generosity! To date you have helped me raise $1250 - Wow!

I would like to personally thank each one of you for making a real difference to Fighting Chance Australia. Being a small charity, Fighting Chance relies on a very small operating budget to keep its doors open. The CEO Laura O'Reilly, mentioned to me on Saturday that the $1250 literally meant that the charity could pay it's bills and keep the doors open for another month...and it's all thanks to you.

I've uploaded a picture of my cousin Belinda (who provided some much needed mental support) and I at the 10k mark. Unfortunately, my picture crossing the line has been misplaced for a lady called Angie Bull (I've got the Blackmores Admin staff sorting that one out!) so if you didnt see me hobbling around the week after the race, I can assure you that I finished. My calves are still sore!

Looking forward to beating my time of 2hrs 14mins next year.
