TEAM TESS
Story
I'm taking part in the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival 2012 and hoping to raise much needed funds for the Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation.
My daughter Tess Turnbull was diagnosed with the childhood cancer, Neuroblastoma in October 2010. For 8 months Tess fought this disease courageously and without complaint. Sadly in May of last year Tess passed away after relapsing during treatment. I promised her that I would never give up and continue the fight that she bravely undertook daily. Tess did not live like a sick person and every day was just another day to play. She inspires me every day and so I will aim to run the Marathon again this year in order to keep up that fight and raise money for Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation.
All money raised will go directly to research into Neuroblastoma through The Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation.
I appreciate your support greatly. Living without my gorgeous girl is devastating and difficult on a daily basis, but I refuse to give up and let Neuroblastoma defeat me or my family.
ALL donations you give go directly to charity, so click on DONATE NOW!
Thank you very much.
With gratitude
Jo Turnbull
